At Con-Tempo Furniture, we don’t just deliver wardrobes – we bring your vision to life. Every made-to-measure wardrobe we build is carefully crafted in our Wiltshire workshop, and the same care continues during delivery and installation.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how our team assembles your bespoke wardrobe from workshop to bedroom.
Step 1: Precision-Cut in Our Workshop
Your wardrobe begins its life in our Warminster factory, where each panel, door, and internal component is cut, sanded, and finished to your exact specifications. Whether you’ve chosen solid oak or a painted finish from our Lusso range, we prepare everything in advance for a smooth on-site build.
Step 2: Pre-Delivery Checks
Before leaving our workshop, your wardrobe is fully checked for quality, fit, and finish. We pre-assemble elements where possible and carefully package the components to prevent damage in transit.
Step 3: On-Site Assembly by Our Expert Team
Once at your home, our delivery team gets to work:
-
Room prep: We protect your floors and surfaces before unloading.
-
Component check: Every part is laid out and inspected on arrival.
-
Assembly: Our team assembles the frame first, then adds internal sections like shelving, rails, and drawers. Doors, handles, and soft-close hinges are fitted last.
-
Secure fitting: For fitted wardrobes, we secure the unit to the wall or alcove for a seamless finish.
Step 4: Final Checks & Clean-Up
Once everything is in place, we test every door, check alignments, and clean all surfaces so your new wardrobe is ready to use. No flat-pack nightmares – just solid, fitted furniture designed to last.
