The customer wanted a large kitchen island that would become the centrepiece of their kitchen, offering plenty of preparation space, storage and a timeless design. The only challenge? The finished island was simply too large to fit through the doorway in one piece 🚪
That’s where bespoke British-made furniture makes all the difference.
Designed Around the Home
This handcrafted kitchen island was made completely to order at our workshop next to our showroom in Warminster, Wiltshire. Measuring an impressive 1.8m x 1.1m, the island was carefully designed so it could be professionally assembled inside the customer’s home without compromising on strength or quality.
By manufacturing the island in sections, our team could deliver and build the piece on site, allowing the customer to enjoy a substantial kitchen island even with restricted access.
Solid Oak Craftsmanship
The island features a beautiful solid oak worktop finished with our seasoned oak heat and stain resistant finish, helping to protect the surface from everyday family life while enhancing the natural grain of the timber 🪵
The painted base was finished in the stunning Farrow & Ball Green Smoke, creating a rich contemporary colour that works perfectly with both modern and traditional kitchens.

We’ve just completed and installed a bespoke sliding door sideboard in a customer’s stunning orangery, designed to complement the space while adding practical storage.
The customer wanted a storage solution that wouldn’t overpower the room. With large windows, a roof lantern, and plenty of natural light, it was important the piece felt clean, balanced, and in keeping with the open feel of the orangery.

This recent installation is a perfect example of how we transform difficult areas into practical, beautiful storage. The customer came to us with a room featuring sloped ceilings and limited usable space — something that many standard furniture retailers simply can’t accommodate.
Designed Around the Space
Rather than trying to make off-the-shelf furniture fit, we designed a completely bespoke sliding door wardrobe to work perfectly within the room.
Every detail was carefully considered:
Full use of height despite the sloping ceiling
