At Con-Tempo Furniture, we believe great design isn’t about working around problems — it’s about designing through them.
This project is a perfect example of how bespoke furniture allows us to transform even the most challenging spaces into something seamless, practical, and beautifully finished.
From an awkward extruded wall in the bedroom to a fully fitted 2.5 metre media wall in the living room, this home was completely rethought and tailored around the customer’s space and lifestyle.
The starting point was the bedroom — and a tricky one at that.
An extruded wall meant a standard wardrobe simply wouldn’t work. Instead of compromising, we designed a fully made-to-measure painted wardrobe that wraps neatly around the projection, creating a clean, built-in appearance as if it had always been part of the room.
The entire design was completed remotely. The customer sent us:

Their storage requirements
From there, our team produced detailed drawings and renderings, allowing the customer to visualise the finished result before production began.
Inside the Wardrobe
The internal layout was carefully planned to maximise usability:

Generous hanging rails

Practical adjustable shelving

Balanced storage across the full run of wardrobes
Every inch of space was used intelligently, with no awkward gaps or wasted areas.
To complement the wardrobe, we designed and built a full suite of matching bedroom furniture, all finished to sit perfectly together.
This included:

A bespoke chest of drawers

Large bedside cabinets for everyday practicality

Integrated blanket storage at the foot of the bed
The result is a calm, cohesive bedroom where every piece feels intentional — not added as an afterthought.

From Bedroom to Living Room: A 2.5 Metre Media Wall
Once the bedroom was complete, the project continued into the living room with a striking 2.5 metre media wall.
Designed to mirror the same clean lines and painted finish, the media wall provides:
