Established in November 2009, Con-tempo Furniture offers you contemporary, British made furniture for your living room, bedroom, dining room even the office. Our retail store is more than just a furniture store, with our furniture set out in inspiring room sets with two floors of choice.

The concept behind Con-tempo Furniture is simple: a winning combination of stylish, quality, UK manufactured furniture coupled with fantastic customer service. When you walk in store, you notice there is something different about Con-tempo Furniture that sets it apart from any other furniture store. First of all, the store is laid out in inspiring room sets, so you can really see how the furniture would look in your home.

Secondly, there is the warm and friendly atmosphere - our team aren't pushy sales people, they understand that furniture is a big purchasing decision and are more than happy to sit down with you over a cup of tea to discuss what's right for your home.

Thirdly, and possibly most importantly, is the furniture. We take pride in every piece of furniture which is hand crafted by our dedicated production team who ensure the greatest care and attention to detail. All our furniture has been designed and built using a knowledge and blend of modern methods and traditional craftsman skills and finishing. All furniture is made to order and with the popular made to measure furniture service, offering customers the chance to customise their furniture by shrinking or stretching certain products, there is never an issue we can’t resolve. 

With everything from design to sales all at the one location, Con-tempo Furniture can offer exceptional customer service and support. We are proud to be a British furniture manufacturer and openly invite our customers to visit our showroom and factory to see how our furniture is produced.

Alongside our retail store and factory we have our own in-house design team, who work in synergy, designing the highest quality furniture. Our design team not only design ranges for our retail store but also work alongside large retail chains to design exclusive ranges for them. Their recent collaborative design work includes ranges for House of Fraser and John Lewis.

The company’s ethos is to design and create innovative furniture that stands out from the imported crowd, therefore having to constantly produce fresh new designs in order to stay a step ahead of the competition, a position that everyone within the company relishes wholeheartedly.
